How You Will Contribute
- Verify accuracy and validity of product costs and inventory.
- Investigate and correct general ledger discrepancies, as needed.
- Discuss overhead expense reporting analysis with operations leaders.
- Compare product costs to budget.
- Analyze resource usage, yield, labor, overhead, and other variances.
- Host weekly/monthly meetings to discuss report results or variance analysis.
- Support manufacturing by answering questions and investigating discrepancies.
About YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- Minimum of 2 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other database systems.
- Some travel required.
