Supply Planning

• Align plant operational capacities with corporate planning systems
• Evaluate available long and short-term capacities and constraints in equipment, labor, and materials, suggest revisions, and implement the final plan
• Manage the flow and streamline the processes involved in producing a product to maximize inventory efficiencies and meet customer expectations
• Represent Planning as part of the plant leadership team encouraging cooperation and exchanging information between Corporate Master Planning and the plant team
• Maintain and review the production plan to adjust for forecast changes and unexpected sales
• Determine and implement formulation production plans
• Develop contingency plans for issues and coordinate with functional areas to resolve plant planning or scheduling conflicts and capacity constraints
• Manage planning department budget numbers

Inventory Control

  • • Consult, communicate, and determine raw material needs with Procurement
    • Manage finished goods inventory levels between manufacturing locations within established control limits to support demand
    • Monitor WIP levels and adjust production plans as necessary
    • Monitor components to assure availability when needed to maintain continuous workflow to production lines while maintaining proper inventory levels
    • Determine materials requirements needed to meet production schedules, inventory levels, and shipment demands to achieve on-time production and inventory management requirements
    • Control the flow of product to the packaging room – to ensure no obsolescence/expiry
    • Manage finished goods inventory at outside storage locations
    • Daily monitor inventory and codes of all products in the cooler to ensure proper rotation and traceability of all items

Team Management

  • • Manage day to day activities of production scheduler to implement and maintain performance metrics
    • Lead and manage goal setting, developing, training, succession planning and mentoring for the production scheduler
    • Technical resource for Allergen program
    • Manage shipment status to meet on-time and accurate delivery requirements
    • Proactively evaluate process flow, making changes to improve time-to-fill

    Qualifications

    Experience 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain management, business, or operations management
    Education Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Operations preferred
    Certifications
    Knowledge Microsoft 365 proficiency required

    ERP system experience required, IFS preferred

    Travel Local and or overnight travel is required this percentage of time 10%
